December 1st, 1945. According to the order #215, issued by Ukrremtrest Administration, our company was established as an engine service plant.
1948. Engine service plant was reorganized and became a service plant. 1950. Engine shop and administrative building were built. 1953. The plant starts performing major repairs of "GAZ-AA" and "GAZ-MM" trucks. 1955. The plant starts performing major repairs of "Pobeda" cars. April 27th 1959. According to the order #106, issued by the Council of National Economy of Kharkov Economical Administrative Region, the plant was reorganized to an automobile unit plant. Because of the development of automobile construction, the plant received a task to arrange mass production of brake system units for commercial vehicles. Seven types of pneumatic devices and dumping gear for KRAZ vehicles were arranged for mass production in a short term. 1960. First OEM brake system parts were produced and shipped to automobile plants. Having arranged mass production of brake gear devices, Poltava Automobile Unit Plant became the first specialized enterprise in the USSR shipping such products. April 27th 1959. Mass production of sprayers was started, which were the first consumer goods produced at the enterprise. 1965. The plant was assigned under the authority of the Ministry of Automobile Industry of the USSR. 1965. Construction Department was created, which assumed the responsibility to head the field of Pneumatic Brake Gear Design for trucks. 1970. The plant was acknowledged a participant of the Exhibition of National Economy Achievements of the USSR. 1970. Production of meat mincing machines was started. 1976. Production of pneumoapparatus for manufacturing equipment was initiated. The foundation of this event was the order #137 of July 21st, 1976, issued by the Ministry of Automobile Industry of the USSR, titled "Concerning development of pneumatic apparatus for manufacturing equipment at Poltava Automobile Unit Plant". 1976. The following workshops were put into operation: Machine-assembly shop #2 with total area of 13400 m2, foundry with capacity of 1200 tons per year, open-type power substation 110/10 KW. 1978. Engineering laboratory complex put was into operation. 1991. Department of Foreign Cooperation was established. 1993. Business and industry complex "TOPAZ" was created. 1994. According to the order #575 of December 29th 1994 issued by the company, OJSC "Poltava Automobile Unit Plant" was established based on Poltava Automobile Unit Plant. 1995. Plant history museum was established. 1995. Plant’s retail shop "Darina" was put into operation. 1996. Company "Automobile Unit - PAAZ" established as a structural part of OJSC "Poltava Automobile Unit Plant". 1996. OJSC "Poltava Automobile Unit Plant" became part of "AutoKRAZ" Holding Company. 1997. First shareholders’ meeting of OJSC "Poltava Automobile Unit Plant". 1997. Marketing Bureau was established. 1999. According to the company’s administrative order #46 of April 29th 1999 the following daughter enterprises were established:

2000. Creation of dealer network was initiated. 2001. The following new and less metal-intensive brake gear devices were designed and put into production:
2003. The following daughter enterprises were put out of operation in accordance with orders #169, 170 of September 1st 2003: "Instrument", "Marketing-Avtoagregat", "Byttechnika". 2003. The following new brake gear devices were designed and put into mass production:
2004. Daughter enterprise "Avtokomponent" was put out of opereation in accordance with the order #188 of June 3rd 2004. 2004. The following new brake system devices were designed and put into mass production:
